As usual, append here stuff you *would like* to have fixed before Sabayon 8.

My OpenRC version : @@ Package: sys-apps/openrc-0.9.8.1 branch: 5, [sabayonlinux.org]
My wicd version : @@ Package: net-misc/wicd-1.7.1_beta2-r3 branch: 5, [sabayonlinux.org]

Therefore, my wicd-client although detects wlan0, it does not see any local wireless networks and let alone connect to them manually.
